This facility is now the permanent home for the Idaho State Historical Society’s extensive document and artifact collection.

Unique features of the structure include a mobile shelving system for easy access to archived materials and a climate-controlled vault for large artwork. Loading dock and distribution areas were constructed for distributing materials to museums throughout the state.

The structure is two stories with 26,583 square feet of warehouse and office space. The building is constructed of masonry exterior walls, structural steel, steel joists and is finished with an EIFS exterior and a flexible sheet roofing system.
